Elijah Jordan Follmer, 2

Elijah Jordan Follmer, 2, of Montgomery, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020, at home surrounded by his family.

Despite his medical challenges, Elijah was always happy. He loved to be snuggled by his family and home nurses. His eyes would light up to the song “Baby Shark” when sung by his siblings. Elijah liked balloons and was known at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as “the boy with the Jesus doll.”

Born June 8, 2017 in Philadelphia, he was a son of Joel D. and Vanessa M. (Guthrie) Follmer.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two siblings, Gabriel and Kira Follmer; paternal grandparents, Dale A. and Donna (Plocinski) Follmer, of South Williamsport; paternal great-grandmother, Elizabeth Follmer, of Nesbit; maternal grandparents, Charles Jr. and Sandy (Feaster) Guthrie, of Montgomery; maternal great-grandmother, Nancy Feaster, of Montgomery; aunts and uncles, Chad Follmer, Ryan and Jessica Follmer, Justin and Francesca Follmer, and Natalie Follmer, Jennifer Charles, and Chad and Tara Charles.

Elijah was preceded in death by his sister, Eva Marie Follmer.

A funeral service to honor the life of Elijah will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, at New Covenant Assembly of God, 1270 Pinchtown Road, Montgomery, with Rev. James Pentz officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 6, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport.
