In Loving Memory of Ed Brown
Ed Brown, age 78, of Greenburg, PA and formerly of Hughesville, PA, passed away on April 30, 2025. He was born on March 14, 1947 and lived a life full of love, laughter, and unforgettable stories.
Ed was the beloved husband of Janet, sharing over 41 years of love, partnership, and countless memories. He was a proud father to four children from a previous marriage: Tami Golder (Martin), Kimberly Shook (Robert), Charles Brown (Bonnie), and Edward “Eddie” Brown, who preceded him in death (2014). His legacy continues through his 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild as well as a step-daughter, Kelly Crowder (Clint).
A machinist for well over 35 years, Ed had an unmatched work ethic and pride in his craft. Long before cars became computers on wheels, he was a true “car whisperer,” known for diagnosing and fixing anything with an engine—by ear, touch, and instinct alone.
Beyond his skill and dedication, Ed was a master storyteller and the king of comic relief. He had a gift for bringing people together with his laughter, wisdom, and warm presence.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 30th at the Masonic Lodge, 28 Brummer Pond Rd, Muncy PA between 5pm and 7pm.
