Doris Stewart Keller, 104

Doris Stewart Keller, 104, formerly of Riegelsville, passed on December 26, 2025.

In her earlier years, she had been employed at Bethlehem Steel and as a bookkeeper for the Coccia Manufacturing, Riegelsville, PA. She worked for the company for 27 years, retiring in 1985, and later moved to Williamsport in 2007.

She was born October 10, 1921, in Cameron, Cameron County, PA, a daughter to the late Morris and Jessie (Howlett) Stewart.

She was a member, former Councilwoman, and Meals on Wheels Volunteer of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Riegelsville, PA. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Riegelsville Fre Co. #1, and a member of William Parsons Chapter #185, Order of Eastern Star, Easton, PA. She served on the Riegelsville Boro Planning Commission and the B.O.C.A. Appeals Board of the Boro. She was a graduate of Wilson High School, class of 1938 and of Churchman’s Business College, Class of 1940.

She married her husband, William R. Keller Jr on January 5, 1946.They celebrated 58 years together before his passing on January 9, 2004.

She is survived by two daughters, Anita K. Billemeyer of Lincoln University, and Phyllis K. Columbine of Williamsport; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A private family service will be held at the family’s convenience.
