Doris L. Stone, 89, of Montoursville, died February 24, 2020, at Muncy Valley Hospital.
She was born April 13, 1930, in Hughesville, a daughter of the late Larue and Pauline (Houseknecht) Fry.
Doris retired from the former Bank of Central Pennsylvania. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, and enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards, and going on cruises.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. “Stoney” Stone, and a sister, Lois Barto.
Surviving are her children, Debra J. (George) Millheim, of Montoursville, David E. (Keyna) Stone, of Hartselle, Alabama, and Donna L. (Robert) Thomas, of Watsontown; a brother, Carl Fry, of Williamsport; five grandchildren, Tracey Weishaupt, Tricia (Chris) Moser, Eric, Ryan, and Evan Stone; and six great-grandchildren, Derek, Breanna, Tyler, Caleb, Gabriel, and Luke.
At Doris’s request there will be no services and burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
