Diane M. Romig, 69, of 313 E. Church St., Lock Haven, died January 24, 2019 at Williamsport Hospital.
Born October 9, 1949 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth Franks.
On November 4, 1972 she married David Romig, whom survives.
Diane is survived by a sister, Virgil Dauala (Guy) Moroge of Midlothian, VA; two nephews, Doug (Denise) Dauala of South Orange, NJ and Dan (Melody) Dauala of Soundgate, VT and their children, Virginia, Paul and John; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Diane was raised in Levittown, PA. She often said she had a wonderful childhood with her sister, her mother – who could make or do everything, and her dad – who taught her to fish, shoot firearms and love the outdoors and all the animals that live there.
She graduated from Lock Haven University with a degree in Elementary Education. She later became certified in Special Education, which she loved and dedicated her life to for 30 years before her retirement.
Diane was an artistic, creative, humble and loving person.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Clinton County SPCA.
