Deborah A. (Bower) Rishel, 69, of South Williamsport, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025, at her home.
She was married to James L. “Jim” Rishel on September 2, 1984, who survives.
Deborah was born on December 29, 1955, in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Walter H. Bower and Ruth E. (Sperry) Signor. She was a dedicated homemaker. Deborah enjoyed sewing, flower and vegetable gardening and baking pies, cakes, cookies and bread; mostly to give out to others. She especially loved her dogs.
In addition to her husband Jim, she is survived by two sons; Daniel Fackler of Williamsport and David Fackler (Carissa O’Block) of Duboistown, one daughter; Jessica Bower of S. Williamsport, one step-daughter; Shannon Rishel of Williamsport, two grandchildren; Emma Flook and Zavier Fackler, three brothers; Richard W. Bower (Georgie), Steven A. Bower (Rita) and Michael P. Bower (Cheryl), one sister; Suzanne E. Decker and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister; Kimberly Kay (Bower) Davis.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lycoming County SPCA.
Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport.
