Daniel Patrick Tripp, 21, of Williamsport, left this world all too soon on Thursday, November 28, 2024.
Born March 21, 2003, in New York City, NY, he was the cherished son of Dan F. and Serena J. (Denecke) Tripp.
Daniel demonstrated his passion for knowledge and his drive for excellence early on. He attended Loyalsock Township Senior High School where he played soccer and participated in track and field. Following his graduation in 2021 Daniel maintained a close relationship with his high school friends while attending West Virginia University, pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, a field he was drawn to from a young age due to his innate curiosity about how things worked. His academic achievements were a testament to his intelligence and dedication.
In his leisure time, Daniel enjoyed playing video games and collecting and listening to music. Despite his quiet and private nature, Daniel was a connoisseur of current events and history, he could often be found engaged in thoughtful discussions, always eager to learn and share his insights. Daniel’s beautiful soul resonated with all who knew him. His independence was notable; he was self-reliant and never sought to burden others, embodying a respectful and good-hearted nature.
Daniel was the adored brother of Lucy R. Tripp and beloved grandson of Manfred and Suzanne Denecke of Long Island, NY, Helga Tripp of Northborough, Mass, and Michael Tripp of Maine. His extended family, including his aunts and uncles, Doris MacPherson (Alan), Shirley DellaCroce (Tom), Rebecca Sandello (Dave), Lenore Kmiotek (Scott), Erika Toohig (Sean), and Megan Frankel (Jonathan), as well as his cousins Jack and Sawyer MacPherson, T.J. and Bella DellaCroce; Josie Sandello, Jake and Luke Kmiotek, Owen and Marlo Toohig, and Nathan and Arielle Frankel, and dog, Julian, will remember Daniel with profound love and fond memories.
