D. Blake Harding, age 20, of Hughesville, died Saturday, April 8, 2023, at UPMC Williamsport.
Born November 15, 2002, in Danville, he was a son of Brad Harding of Montgomery and Melissa (Pawlak) Harding of Muncy. Blake is a 2021 graduate of Montgomery High School, and was employed at Koppers Inc., of Montgomery. Blake was a self-taught welder, mechanic, and auto body repairman. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed his pets.
Blake leaves behind his girlfriend Cara, who he lived with, along with his two good friends Hal and Trevor, who you always saw him with. Also surviving is his father, Brad Harding, his mother Melissa Harding (Robert Hitesman); a brother Bailey Harding of Montgomery; paternal grandparents Steven (Mary) Harding of Montgomery, Dana Harding of Montgomery; maternal grandparents, Robert (Linda) Pawlak of Hughesville; paternal great-grandmother Jane Hoffner of Montgomery; an aunt, Ashley Cross of Montgomery; and an uncle, Bill Harding of Muncy.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather, Daniel Hoffner.
A celebration of Blake’s life will be from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department, 30 Railroad Street, Hughesville, PA. The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions be made to: The Benefit of D. Blake Harding, C/O M&T Bank, 405 River Avenue, Williamsport, PA 17701, to help defray the funeral expenses.
