Dana T. “Tom” Eberhart, 73, of W. Fourth St., Lock Haven, passed away September 10, 2018 at his home.
Tom was born in Lock Haven on June 7, 1945, the son of the late Russel P. and Leota Hollick Eberhart.
He was a 1963 graduate of Lock Haven High School where he served as a student basketball manager.
Tom was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1966 to 1968.
He worked at American Color and Chemical, IGA grocery store and Junior’s Foodette before beginning his 24 year career at Weis Market of Mill Hall.
Tom was avid sports fan, especially of the Phillies, PSU Football and the Steelers. He enjoyed his time with his friends and was always willing to help anyone in need.
He is survived by his close friend, Aaron (Krista) Gentzyel of Lock Haven; and his neighbor whom was like a sister to Tom, Thelma I. Bair of Lock Haven.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two aunts, Violet Hollick Samuels and Thelma Hollick Meckley.
A funeral service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 6p.m at the Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven, PA 17745 with Martha Sykes officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4p.m. until the time of the service.
Private burial will be held at Highland Cemetery, Lock Haven.
Memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to the Clinton County SPCA.
