Cynthia R. DiParlo, 69

Cynthia R. DiParlo, 69, of Williamsport, died Saturday, November 16, 2024, at her home.

Cynthia was born July 28, 1955, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Frank and Cecelia A. (Pryor) Crossley. She was the wife of the late Joseph DiParlo, Jr. with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.

Cyndi, fondly known to her loved ones, assumed multiple roles: daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend. Nevertheless, wife and mom held the most significance for her. She was an enthusiastic sports mom, encouraging her children in various activities like soccer, softball, baseball, band, and basketball. Cyndi delighted in outdoor pursuits, including gardening during spring and summer, and canning vegetables and fruits in the fall. With a heart for animals, she never turned away strays and volunteered at Hillside, Meadows, and Leighton Place, assisting the elderly. Most importantly, her grandchildren were the apple of her eye, and she loved them unconditionally, treasuring the nickname ‘Nene’.

Cynthia is survived by daughters, Aundrea L. (Matthew) Randall, of Cogan Station, Janelle K. DiParlo, of South Williamsport, Beth L. DiParlo, of Phoenix, AZ; son, Michael E. (Sara) DiParlo, of Canton; sister, Christine Fontenot, of Lake Charles, LA; brothers, Frank Crossley, of Rauchtown, William “Bill” Mundell, of Lebanon; grandchildren, Tyler Randall, Megan Randall, Gavin Hunsinger, Gianna DiParlo, Ayden DiParlo, Bailee Randall, Cayson DiParlo, Willow DiParlo.

In addition to her parents and husband, Cynthia was preceded in death by son, Joseph F. DiParlo, and three sisters.

Service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
