Curtis J. Hull, 80

Curtis J. Hull, 80, of Avis went home to glory on August 20, 2018 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

Curtis was born in Phillipsburg, PA on September 18, 1937, the son of the late Cecil and Amanda Woods Hull.

He was a 1956 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1959.

Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Edith M. Hull and is survived by his current wife, Myra (Keen) Hull of Avis.

He retired from International Paper where he worked as a pipe fitter for 38 years.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lock Haven.

Curtis enjoyed hunting, traveling with his wife and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Myra, he is survived by a daughter, Marva Feger of Avis; two sons, Daryl (Marsha) Hull of Mill Hall and Curtis (Kathy) Hull of Flemington; five step-children, Pam (Dave) Pletcher of Lock Haven, Wayne Keen of Avis, Wes (Brenda) Keen of Avis, Kandy (Rick) Phillips of Lock Haven and Wendy (Tim) Wool of Avis; a sister, Bertha Hanson of Phillipsburg; and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom he adored.

In addition to his wife, Edith, and his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 11a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745 with Pastors Doug Packard and Jeff Bayliff officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 10a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the First Baptist Church, Lock Haven.
