Crystal E. Sechler, 80, of Turbotville, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at home.
Born October 16, 1945 in Sunbury, she was a daughter of the late George Wendell and Erma A. (Miller) Carr. On June 29, 1968 she married Larry R. Sechler, and together they celebrated nearly 40 years of marriage before his passing in 2008.
Crystal was a 1963 graduate of Sunbury High School. In addition to staying home with her children, she assisted her husband with his businesses, Sechler Excavating and Country Friends Restaurant, McEwensville. Earlier in life, she worked at Grand Way in Sunbury.
Crystal is survived by a son, Michael A. Sechler and his partner, Jorge Garcia, of Turbotville; a daughter, Desiree A. Rovenolt and her husband, Roger, of McEwensville; three grandchildren, Kathleen (Chad) Swartz, Brian Nicholas II, and Samantha (James) Stoltzfus; three great-grandchildren, Braylyne Swartz, Nicholas Stoltzfus, and Colton Stoltzfus; and a brother, Jeffrey W. Carr and his wife, Nancy, of McEwensville.
In addition to her parents and husband, Crystal was preceded in death by a sister, Wendy Jean Carr.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
