Cornelius “Tony” Drummond, 59

Cornelius “Tony” Drummond, 59, born on March 20, 1965, in Wilmington, Delaware, passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2024, in Williamsport.

Known by many as a self-employed contractor and a jack of all trades, Tony’s passion for his work was evident in every project he took on. Beyond his professional pursuits, he found joy in simpler pleasures like fishing, playing cards and chess, working on cars, and most of all, spending quality time with his beloved family.

Tony leaves behind a cherished legacy that lives on through his son Cornelius Drummond, Jr., daughters Tonnisha and Kayla Drummond, grandchildren Genesis Adderly, Gabriel Mace, Giovani and Giuliana Drummond all of Williamsport; 13 siblings, Retha Keyes, Jesse Mitchell, Lou Mitchell of Maryland, Blake Mitchell, Paulette Brown of Maryland, James, Nona, Jackie, Jerome, Joseph and Jeremy Drummond, Eugene Caudell and Johnny Cannon of Delaware; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

He is now reunited with his parents, Johnathan and Rose (Mitchelle) Drummond; five brothers, Curtis Mitchell, Sr., Johnnie Drummond, Jr., John Drummond, Sr., Jeffrey Drummond, Sr. and Johnathan Drummond, Sr.

A celebration of Tony’s life will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 5:00 pm at Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. Prior to the service, a public viewing will be held at 4:00 pm until the time of the ceremony at the funeral home.
