Connie G. Dyer, 64, of Hughesville, died Thursday, September 5, 2024, at her home.

Born October 31, 1959, in Muncy, she was a daughter Daisy (McDonald) Barto, of Hughesville, and the late Rolland Barto. Connie was a 1977 graduate of Hughesville High School and attended Empire Beauty School after graduation. She was employed as a mail carrier for the US Post Office in Hughesville for 25 years. Connie enjoyed gardening, crafts, and cooking for her family. She will be missed by her beloved dog “Jakey”. Connie had numerous friends throughout her lifetime who helped her and were there for her in many ways.

Surviving in addition to her mother Daisy are three sons, Eric (Wendy) Barto, of Hughesville, Jess (Krista) Dyer, of Hughesville, Cody Dyer, of Allenwood; five grandchildren, Steven (Mic) Barto, Isaac Barto, Alec Barto, Emily Dyer, and Cole Dyer; three great grandchildren, Brynn Barto, Lucas Barto, and Stella Barto. Connie also had two special nieces who cared for her a great deal, Angel Shultz and Brandy Shaner; two sisters, Barbara (Tim) Campbell, of Hughesville, and Roseanna Barto; and a brother, Greg Barto.

In addition to her father, Connie was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Jack Barto.

In keeping with Connie’s wishes, family services will be held privately.
