Clark C. Fisher, 78, a dedicated craftsman and beloved family man, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, at the Gatehouse. Born in Williamsport on February 4, 1947 to the late Forrest and Irene (Clark) Fisher.
Clark was a skilled welder, having devoted many years of service to Anchor Darling Valve Company. His craftsmanship extended beyond his profession; he was an avid woodworker who took great joy in creating beautiful pieces of furniture, benches, and cabinets. His passion for woodworking was matched only by his love for the outdoors, where he spent countless hours fishing and enjoying shooting guns.
Clark was preceded in death by his cherished parents and his sister, Darlyn Herriman. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold his memory dear: his daughters Tania Myers (Jeff Snyder), Deanne (Kevin) Fanning, and Sha’ra Fisher; step-daughters Amy (Jason) Shipton and Shawn (Marlin) Fultz; and step-son Wade (Ashley) Bower. He was the proud grandfather of Jacob (Cortney) Myers, Tyler Boring (Luke Rupert), Zachary (Chelsea) Myers, Gabriel Case, Gavin Case, and Grant Fisher-Price, and the delighted great-grandfather of Blayzze Baker and DeLayne Baker. Clark is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember his warmth and wisdom.
A celebration of Clark’s life will be held at Salladasburg United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Arrangements are being handled by Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, located at 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore. Please leave condolences for the family at http://www.rearickcarpenter.com
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Clark’s honor to the Gatehouse at UPMC Williamsport Divine Providence Hospital.
