Charles M. (Pete) Waldron, 67

It is with much love that we share the start of a new beginning for Charles M. Waldron, fondly known as Pete, of Pennsdale, who passed peacefully on, June 20, 2024.

He was born December 29, 1956, in Muncy, PA, a son of the late William R. and Mary E. Waldron.

In 1981 he married his rock and love of his life, Darlene Shively. Together they celebrated 43 years of marriage.

Pete was a proud alumnus of Muncy High School and Shippensburg University. He retired from Liberty Mutual in 2020 after serving 41 years.

He was a devoted Christian and lifelong member of the St. Andrew Lutheran Church. He prioritized civic duty and was actively involved in numerous local organizations. He was one of the original ELYMCA board members that brought the YMCA to Pennsdale, a Mason for over 40 years, serving on the instruction committee, and a member of the NJ and PA Auto Insurance Plan Governing Committee, among others.

He was a community-minded leader, whose selflessness touched the lives of those around him. His generosity, kindness, and commitment to helping others made him a treasured and irreplaceable figure, loved and admired by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Above all else he was devoted to his family, friends, and church.
