Charles H. Snyder, Sr., 73, of Pennsadale, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at UPMC Susquehanna Hospital.
He was born on October 3, 1947 in Harrisburg, the son of the late Harry E. Jr., and Blanche (Eisenacher) Snyder.
He graduated from William Penn H. S. in 1965, was a Vietnam Army veteran, and a graduate of the PA State Police Academy. He retired as Crime Corporal from Troop P LaPorte. He served as an Uncle for Little League Baseball and enjoyed golfing, woodworking and NASCAR.
Surviving is his wife of 36 years, the former Nancy M. O’Boyle; two sons, Charles H. (Lisa) Snyder, Jr., of Muncy, Martin C. (Marion) Snyder, of Charleston, SC.; brother, Harry E. Snyder III, of Harrisburg; sister, Virginia Berry, of Harrisburg; and three grandchildren, Jordan, Karrie, and Kassidy Snyder.
There will be a funeral service Thursday, November 12, 12:00 p.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church, 75 Musser Lane, Muncy, PA 17756, with The Rev. Glenn McCreary V.E. officiating.
There will be a viewing for family and friends on Thursday, 11-12:00 p.m. in the church.
Masks and social distancing will be required.
Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
