Cathy D. (Carson) Deuel, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, in Lock Haven at the age of 67. Cathy was born on January 1, 1958, in Jersey Shore, to the late Merrill J. and Jean E. (Fudge) Carson. Cathy spent formative years surrounded by natural beauty.

Throughout her life, Cathy was known for her warm, outgoing nature and her deep love for the outdoors. As a young farmgirl, she developed an early appreciation for animals and the land, which became lifelong passions. Cathy was also an avid fisherwoman who found serenity and joy in the simple pleasures of nature.

Cathy dedicated much of her professional life to Truck-Lite Co, LLC, where she worked diligently as an assembly line worker. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family and friends, with whom she loved spending time. A true “people person,” Cathy formed lasting connections with those around her, bringing light and laughter to every gathering.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her sons, Corey (Laurie) Deuel of Jersey Shore and Patrick (Nikki) Deuel of Martins Ferry, OH; her grandchildren, Joseph Getgen, Landon Braim, Carly Deuel, and Renee Deuel; and her three brothers. Her family and all who knew her will miss her dearly.

In accordance with Cathy’s wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home at 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore, PA.
