Carmen J. Kremser, 96, of Montoursville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022 at home.
She was born in 1926 in Montoursville, the daughter of the late Ruth and Paul Rice. She married Paul L. Kremser in 1947 and shared 66 years of marriage.
Carmen left her job at GTE Sylvania to raise four boys who she often took hunting in local fields and woods around Montoursville. Carmen was kept busy coming up with different recipes for wild game including venison. Carmen was also book keeper for Kremser Bros. for approximately 65 years.
She was a 1944 graduate of Montoursville High School where she was a member of the cheerleading squad. She was a charter member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority where she held a variety of offices. She was a member of the Montoursville Garden Club.
Surviving her are four sons, Paul (Andrea), Gary (Jacki), Craig (Holly), and Todd (Brenda); nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Kremser on Nov. 22, 2013.
Keeping with her wishes, no service will be held.
