Carl Arthur Crist, Jr., 68 (December 1955) of Jersey Shore, PA, went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2023, in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Carl was a dedicated husband, loving father, brother and uncle. Carl was the son of Carl Crist, Sr. and Dolly (Hafer) Crist who preceded him in death. Carl is survived by his wife of 32 years, Roxanne (Rummings) Crist, daughters Calie (Crist) Eager (Ben Eager) and Adrienne Crist (fiancé Logan Bell), his sister, Connie (Crist) Corter, nieces, Natalie (Huff) Arslan (Mehmet Arslan) and Melissa (Huff) Young and his beloved dog Delilah.
Carl graduated from Penn College and then retired from West Pharmaceutical Services after 35 years of service. Carl was involved in his community through being on the board for the Citizen Hose Fire-Rescue-EMS and with his Jersey Shore High School class of 1973. Carl loved his weekly Bible study group and his neighbors. Carl was a man who enjoyed working with his hands by gardening, woodworking, stained glass, and home renovations. Carl was an outdoors enthusiast participating in hunting, fishing, and riding his horse. Although Carl’s life on earth ended abruptly, we know that he is home with his Lord and Savior and his family is hopeful to be reunited with him in his eternal life.
A memorial service to honor Carl’s life will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. The family will receive friends prior from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
