Brady T. Gehr, 88, of Warrensville, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.
Born June 28, 1937, in Warrensville, he was a son of the late Theodore and Eleanor (Deiter) Gehr.
He and his wife, Eleanor Gehr, shared a wonderful 49 years together until her passing in 2011. Brady was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who truly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his best friend Buddy, who was the family’s dog. Early on in his life, he attended Montoursville High School and after his schooling he joined the Army Reserves. While in the reserves, he worked on a sawmill for a short period of time before becoming a mechanic for PennDOT. Outside of work, Brady enjoyed being outdoors whether that was hunting, fishing, or going on long car rides. He also was an avid John Deere collector and would talk to anyone about different types of equipment.
He is survived by two sons, Brady (Barb), of Hughesville, and Michael (Christy) Gehr, of Tecumseh, Okla.; four daughters, Belinda Mosteller, of Montoursville, Tammy (Dave) Wheeler, of Warrensville, Lori Gehr, of Warrensville, and Michelle (Jason) Cortright, of Trout Run; a brother, Joe Gehr, of Montoursville; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Brady was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers and sister.
In keeping with Brady’s wishes there will be no services.
