Barbara J. “Barb” Paulhamus, 82, of Linden, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at The Williamsport Home. Surviving is her loving husband, Cecil C. Paulhamus, with whom they would have celebrated 64 years of marriage this November.
Born February 3, 1942, at home, in Anthony Township, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Catharine (Murray) Knepley.
Barb was a 1959 graduate of the Williamsport Area High School. As a dedicated homemaker, Barb devoted her life to caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home. Her hands were rarely still, as she poured her creativity into making beautiful quilts and intricately decorated cakes. Barb’s talents extended beyond her home as she actively participated in the life of the Walnut Street Baptist Church. Her faith was an integral part of who she was, and she lived it out by serving others. She was always ready to arrange flowers, prepare food for church events, and deliver meals to those who were sick or in need. Barb’s family was the centerpiece of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her three children, Edward M. Paulhamus (Rea) of Linden, Dennis L. Paulhamus (Kamala) of Cogan Station, and Brenda K. Campbell (Richard) of Jersey Shore; seven grandchildren Andrew (Chelsea), Ashley (Andrew), Alicia (Cody), Austin (Jordyn), Elizabeth (Nate), Lyle, and Leah; five great-grandchildren Theo, Eden, Maelee, Jaylynn, and Alex; and a brother, Thomas Knepley (Mary Grace) of Williamsport.
