Barbara A. Pennington, 79, of Cogan Station, died October 6, 2019, at her residence.
She was born August 2, 1940, in Boston, a daughter of the late Milton and Helen (Taillon) Barlow.
Barbara retired from Wundies after 28 years of service. She enjoyed family, especially her grandchildren, cooking for family gatherings, and taking care of people.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby, and two aunts, Frannie and Kay.
Surviving are three sons, Paul (Julie) Santos, Michael (Rochelle) Pennington, and Eric (Betty Morehart) Pennington; a daughter, Janine Santos; two brothers, Dickey and Denny Barlow; a sister, Eileen Barlow; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 10, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, with Rev. Adam W. Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
