Anna C. (Moll) Taylor, 86

Anna C. (Moll) Taylor, 86, of Montgomery, Pennsylvania died Saturday, May 25, 2024, at WeCare at Loyalsock.

Born August 15, 1937, in Watsontown, PA, she was a daughter of Harry and Catherine (Smith) Moll. She graduated from Watsontown High School in 1957. She and her late husband, David Russell Taylor who passed on July 29, 2019, shared a wonderful life of 62 years together having been married on July 4, 1957.

Anna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who babysat all her grandchildren from babies to kindergarten. She enjoyed anything with growing flowers, especially her hanging baskets, planters, and Gladiolus. She enjoyed traveling on bus trips with her husband and making crafts, but most of all spending time with her family. She was previously employed as a seamstress for many years with Rhelda Apparel in Hughesville and previously with MICO and Bobby Brookes in Montgomery. She was a member, Elder, Deacon, and Happy Helper of the Grace Presbyterian Church, Montgomery where she loved decorating the church windowsills for various occasions.

She is survived by two children: Kaydee (Chris) Miller, of Montgomery, and Shawn (Trudy) Taylor, of Muncy; six grandchildren: Eric Spencer, Samantha (Kevin) Brummert, Timothy (Courtney) Taylor, Marissa Taylor, Bradley (Abigail) Taylor, and Sarah Taylor; four great-grandchildren: Raylan, Warren, Sophia, and Flynn; and a sister-in-law, June Taylor, of Watsontown.

In addition to her husband, David, Anna was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Spencer, and a son, David Taylor.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St. Hughesville, Pennsylvania, with Pastor Laura Smith, officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to Grace Presbyterian Church, Montgomery.
