Allen F. Steele, 57, of Montgomery, passed away on May 12, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born May 17, 1964 in Sodus, New York, son of the late Charles Steele and Alice Barr.
Allen was a truck driver for Estes Express Lines, New Columbia. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Cincinnati Reds, and Miami Dolphins. He loved studying history and nature, and being a loving father and husband.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, the former Linda S. McMahon; daughter, Michelle Izetta Steele who is at home; son, Airman 1st Class Thomas Charles Steele who is currently deployed; sisters, Beverly (Joseph) Girardi of Canton, PA and Charlotte (Frank) Fatigati of Fountain Inn, SC; and brother Charles (Toni) Simmons of Anchorage, Alaska.
There will be a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, PA 17754 with Pastor Bob Lauver officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
