Alice D. (Stayner) Kinley, 99, of Lock Haven, formerly of Avis, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 at Susque View Nursing Home, Lock Haven.
She was married to the late William C. Kinley for 61 years until his death in June 1999.
Alice was born on May 24, 1919 in Bald Eagle Twp., and was the daughter of the late John and Maude (Driver) Stayner. She was a dedicated homemaker and member of the Avis United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafts and baking.
Alice is survived by nine grandchildren; Warren Miller (Susan) of Maryland, Cindy Maltby (Rick) of Maryland, Tammy Seasholtz (Craig) of Avis, Todd Kinley (Deb) of Philadelphia, Tim Kinley (Kelly) of Avis, Terry Kinley of McElhattan, Trisha Pick (Dave) of Rote, Kim Hackenberg (Jerome) of Avis and Kris Haver (John) of Williamsport, 12 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son; Ronald Kinley, two daughters; Peggy Horne and Meriam Miller, one grandson; Kevin Horne, one great grandson; Brennan Seasholtz and five sisters; Lydia Keller, Gladys Rupert, Helen Delaney, Mary Slegle and Grace Beck.
There will be a public viewing 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore where the service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Joseph S. Hopkins will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
