Williamsport’s recreational program will open officially for the 1950 season next week. Under the direction of Marshal R. Laird, recreation director, this year’s activities constitute four general programs. They are playground, elementary vacation playtime, tennis and “A Day in the Country.” The city’s 12 playgrounds will open June 19 to children for a 10-week session.
