Families United Network, Inc. will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event for the community on October 30th from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. at their Fun Academy location at 145 Ashler Manor Drive, Muncy PA. The event will provide the community with a free and safe way to trick or treat this Halloween.

We have many organizations from the community that will be participating by decorating a trunk and handing out candy. Some of those include: Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Dwell Orphan Care, American Rescue Workers, The Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity, LKW Dance Center, and the Transitional Living Centers along with the program and staff of Families United Network, Inc.

As an added bonus to the day we will have area food trucks at the event to grab a bite to eat. Families United Network is inviting the community to stop by and enjoy all the food trucks have to offer. You do not need to participate in the Trunk-or-Treat to stop by the food trucks. Some of the food trucks that are participating are: Bart’s Pizzeria, Bohemian Wraposdy Sandwiches, Homestead BBQ, Mamacita’s The Real Mexican Grill, and Rexy’s Gourmet Dogs.

Families United Network, Inc. has been providing foster care services for children and adolescents in Pennsylvania since 1996. Our agency prides itself on the quality of service and care provided to children and families through our broad range of services.

Our agency offers Family Based Care for children who are placed outside their homes or in protective custody by county agencies. These families are selected by Families United Network and are fully trained to provide for the needs of children who have suffered neglect, loss, and abuse. Families caring for foster children receive on-going support, training, and reimbursement.
