MLB Draft League institutes 7-inning Games on Tuesdays & Wednesdays

In accordance with pitcher health and safety guidelines announced at the beginning of the season, all MLB Draft League games on Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be 7-inning games for the remainder of the 2021 season. With most of the league’s post-draft pitchers returning to their college programs, it is important that they return to their campuses healthy. This change will better allow the MLB Draft League to manage the innings each pitcher will throw for the remainder of the season as we work to create an environment in the best interest of our amateur players with regard to health and safety.
