The YWCA Northcentral PA is super excited to announce they are hosting their very first virtual event! Livestreaming through Facebook, all members of the community are encouraged to check in with them. Due to the current pandemic, they have postponed their Gala and Auction until next spring.

Because of this, they still want to see our community come together to help the residents of the YWCA. They will have 10 different package items to auction, ranging from jewelry, local business gift cards, a handmade quilt, a uniquely beautiful chest with floral arrangements, and other wonderful gifts that they want to share with you. This event will take place Thursday, May 28 at 7 p.m., online.

The YWCA has been helping members of our community since 1893. Although quite a bit has changed since then, their dedication to our community members in need has not. Through the Wise Options and Liberty House programs, they help men, women, and women with children find safety and the support they need. They’ve helped hundreds of people find safe homes, file Protection from Abuse orders, counseling support services and so much more.
