Endurance Organization is excited to have donated $110,000 this year to PA Wounded Warriors, bringing their total in donations to half a million dollars in just six years. In 2014, Best Line Equipment and McCrossin teamed up with a shared mission: to serve those who served. Together, the two local businesses formed Endurance Organization – a non-profit that raises funds to help military veterans in need.
Endurance Organization’s funds go to PA Wounded Warriors. Founded in 2006, this non-profit is dedicated to helping Pennsylvanian veterans in need. Entirely volunteer run, the group responds to urgent financial needs of these veterans and their families such as medical expenses, housing, and utilities. “We’re happy to support PA Wounded Warriors,” says Joe Leahey, Vice President of McCrossin and Endurance Organization. “95 cents of every dollar they raise goes to veterans. We know our efforts are supporting a worthy cause.”
Endurance Organization recently held their sixth annual clay shoot. The event is attended by employees of Best Line Equipment and McCrossin, as well as sponsors. It is the organization’s sole way of raising funds. The day includes a gun raffle, Chinese auction, and of course, a clay shoot.
“Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors Inc., an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the veterans of our fine state, was honored to be the recipient of Endurance’s 2019 clay shoot,” says retired Lieutenant Colonel Frank Sajer of PA Wounded Warriors. “The support of the Endurance Organization, Best Line Equipment and G. M. McCrossin Inc, their amazing sponsors and all the participants was really overwhelming. It was just great to have a well-organized, safe event with so many patriots who truly care about this state’s wounded veterans and veterans in crisis. The efforts of the Endurance Organization allow us to meet our daily mission and we will be forever thankful for the generosity.”
Looking ahead, Endurance Organization has no plans of stopping. “Our event is a culmination of a year long effort to organize, fundraise, and raise support and awareness for veterans, and active military. September was also National Suicide Awareness Month, and in effort to bring awareness to this critical issue at Endurance Organization we’ve encouraged all our supporting organizations and individuals to recognize the national epidemic where 20-22 veterans are committing suicide every day. At Best Line Equipment, we speak about serving those who serve us, and consider it a core part of our company value set.” Thanks to the support of everyone involved, Endurance Organization plans to continue with its events for years to come.
