EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!! ATTENTION BOYS AND GIRLS!

It is time once again for Webb Weekly’s annual Halloween contest! This is my FAVORITE contest of the year and I always look forward to picking out and choosing which little ghost, goblins or, in this case, mummies will be scattered through the paper. I’m sure you know how this works, but just in case you forgot, let me refresh your memory.

Sprinkled throughout this issue you will find a variety of Mummies. All you need to do is count them — easy peasy. Then do the same thing next week — lemon squeezy. Take those two numbers, add them together and then send me your total. Remember, I am looking for the total number of Mummies in the October 16th and October 23rd editions.

I will then take everyone who answered correctly and pick 10 random winners. Winners will receive a bucket full of goodies big enough to give you several cavities! Seriously, I should be apologizing to local dentists — or maybe asking for a cut! Please do not underestimate the amount of candy and goodies the winners will receive. The looks I get from the stores the day I go shopping is ridic.

The easiest way to enter the contest is to email the answer to contest@webbweekly.com, or you can drop a post card in the snail mail at Webb Weekly, 280 Kane St., Suite 2, South Williamsport, PA 17702. Or, if you are so inclined, you can drop your entry off at our office, we are open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Entries must be submitted by Oct. 25th around noon or so and only one entry per person. Winners will be listed in the Oct. 30th edition. But I’ll call or email the winners prior to that.

Remember the contest is only open to kiddos 12 and under.

Each year we rotate through the local animal shelters and donate $1 for each entry received. This year is LAPS’s turn, so the let’s help the sweet kitties! Be sure to get your entries in and help support a great cause. Plus ya know…candy. So. Much. Candy.

So look carefully and count them up! I get a little sneaky when I place them, so make sure you check every page closely!

So you better chop chop lollipop! Get counting and good luck!!
