The 2019 Williamsport Crosscutters season is right around the corner! The summer fun begins on Friday, June 14 when the Cutters host the State College Spikes at 7:05pm for Opening Night 2019 presented by Protective Services & Backyard Broadcasting. There will be loads of opening night festivities, free schedule magnets for all fans and a post-game fireworks show. The night will also feature a celebration of the U.S. Army’s 244th birthday with a pre-game swearing in ceremony for new recruits. Meet the Cutters June 12

The Crosscutters will be holding the annual Meet the Cutters reception, Wednesday, June 12 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at BB&T Ballpark. Admission is free for all fans. Cutters manager Pat Borders and the entire squad of Williamsport Crosscutters players and coaches will be on hand to meet and sign autographs for all in attendance. There will be prize giveaways along with complimentary refreshments. Fox Sports Williamsport, the Cutters flagship station, will be broadcasting live from the event. All fans are invited to attend.

Leckey Live Coming to BB&T Ballpark June 13 & YOU’RE INVITED!

All fans are invited to come out to the ballpark as Emmy nominated WNEP-TV personality Ryan Leckey visits the Crosscutters on Thursday, June 13. Leckey will be doing his “Leckey Live” segments from BB&T Ballpark during Newswatch 16 This Morning from 4:30 a.m.-7:00 a.m. Fans are encouraged to come out and be part of the live TV broadcast. There will be prizes, free coffee and donuts courtesy of Dunkin’, and more.

Cutters Junior Jacks Club FREE to Join

The Williamsport Crosscutters have announced an upgrade to their Junior Jacks Club for the 2019 season. Membership in the club, presented by Hoss’s Steak & Sea House, is again free of charge for all children age 12 and under and now includes complimentary tickets to even more Cutters games!
Membership in the Junior Jacks Club includes:

• Free admission (Stadium Reserved) for members to every Monday-Thursday Cutters home game in 2019. (25 games in all)
• Membership Card
• 10% off purchases at The Sawmill Team Store and at Hoss’s in Williamsport

Children can be registered for the club by visiting crosscutters.com and clicking on the Junior Jacks Club on the home page or register in-person at BB&T Ballpark, Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm. Upon registration members are provided with their membership card which gives them access to all the benefits.
Mussina Charity Autograph Session & Guaranteed Bobblehead Packages

The Crosscutters have announced a special charity autograph signing with newly elected baseball Hall of Famer, Mike Mussina. The session will take place at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field on July 25 when the Cutters honor him on Mike Mussina Night featuring a special bobblehead for the first 1,000 fans of Mussina in a Hall of Fame uniform.

Autograph passes can be purchased for $20 with all monies donated to Lycoming County Special Olympics and K’s For Cancer. The autograph session will be limited to a maximum of 200 guests. Fans with autograph passes can bring any item they choose to be signed. There is a strict limit of one item and one pass per person.

All fans must have a ticket to the July 25 game to participate in the autograph session. Tickets are not included in the package and must be purchased separately.

The Crosscutters are also selling a very limited number of Guaranteed Bobblehead Packages for bobblehead giveaways taking place during the 2019 season. These packages guarantee fans a bobblehead without having to arrive early to the ballpark and wait in long lines or possibly miss out on being one of the first 1,000 fans through the gates to receive the giveaway.

9th Annual Cutters 5K Race Set for June 29

The Williamsport Crosscutters, in partnership with Hope Enterprises, will be holding the 9th Annual Cutters 5K on Saturday, June 29th at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field.

The race, through Williamsport’s West End, begins at 9 a.m. with registration opening at 8 a.m. The course has runners starting outside the ballpark entrance with the final sprint around the field on the stadium’s warning track. Both runners and walkers are encouraged to take part in the event. All proceeds from this year’s event will go to benefit Hope Enterprises TeenLink.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place runners in seven male and female age categories with the first-place runners having the opportunity to throw out ceremonial first pitches at the Williamsport Crosscutters game on July 5th. Additionally, prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female walkers. The event also features the ever-popular Kids Fun Run, free for children age 10 and under. All children participating will receive an award.
