Sheila M. Love, 79, of Lock Haven passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born May 21, 1947 in Lock Haven.

On August 29, 1964, Sheila married Laverne Love, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.

Sheila devoted her life to caring for her family.  She was especially proud of her children and cherished every minute spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Over the years, Sheila owned numerous Dobermans that held a special place in her heart.

She loved all things purple.

In addition to her husband, Laverne Love of Lock Haven, she is survived by her children: Kim Houtz of Mill Hall, Laverne “Andy” (Julie) Love, Jr. of Mill Hall, Jeff Love of Lock Haven and Shannon (Danielle) Love of Lock Haven; a brother, Vernon Miller, Jr. of Lock Haven; sisters, Kathy (Jerry) Ryan of Lock Haven and Sue (John) Klingensmith of Johnstown; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.  Also surviving is her beloved Doberman, Sophie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Ergott as well as her mother and step-father, Rose and Vernon Miller.

A private visitation and funeral will be held for her family.  Interment will be at Swissdale Cemetery.
