The Annual EuroOptic Autumn Fest Car Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 1203 Lycoming Mall Circle, Muncy, PA.

This year, the Studebaker Drivers Club will be joining our six current participating car clubs. Studebaker began building horse-drawn wagons in 1857, and by 1876, they had become the largest manufacturer of wagons and carriages in the world.

In 1902, they added electric-powered buggies, and in 1904, they added gasoline-powered buggies. By 1913, Studebaker was the third-largest manufacturer of gas-powered cars in the United States, behind only Ford and Overland.

The purchase of the Premiere Luxury Car manufacturer Pierce-Arrow in 1928 was poorly timed, as the United States soon plunged into the Great Depression. A subsequent merger with the failing Packard Car Company was a regrettable decision.

Under the direction of the famous designer Raymond Loewy, the post-WWII Studebakers offered many strikingly unique vehicles. From the “which-way-are-they-going” Bullet Nose (think Fozzie Bear in The Muppet Movie), to the marvelous line of “Hawks”, the first successful American-made compact car, the “Lark”, and the highly coveted Avanti. Studebaker became the leader in challenging conventional design. Unfortunately, independent manufacturers like Studebaker could not compete with the Big Three automakers and ceased production on March 17, 1966.

A special display of various Studebakers will be added to the family-friendly show along with food and craft vendors.

Proceeds will benefit Girlz in the Hoodie programs that support families affected by breast cancer.
