Brad Fenstermacher, 60, of Muncy, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Born on July 26, 1966, in Muncy, he was the beloved son of Paul Fenstermacher and Doris (Carson) Fernandez.

Brad was a 1985 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. Guided by a deep commitment to serving others, he spent many years as a dedicated volunteer with local fire police organizations, holding a particularly special place in his heart for the Pennsdale Volunteer Fire Co., where he faithfully spent the majority of his service.

Brad found his greatest solace and joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved nothing more than taking long drives along winding country roads: windows down and soaking in the open air.

Above all, Brad’s heart belonged entirely to his family. He was an extraordinarily proud and devoted father whose legacy and love live on in his two sons, Kevin and Jake, who were truly the light of his life and his greatest sources of pride and joy.

He is survived by his beloved sons, Kevin (Noel) Fenstermacher of Reading and Jacob Fenstermacher of Leesport; his mother, Doris Fernandez; his siblings, Brenda Guise, Anthony (Heather) Fernandez, and Dominick (Melissa) Fernandez; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Brad was preceded in death by his father, Paul Fenstermacher.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, Pennsylvania, with Pastor Martin Coffey officiating. Burial will follow at St. James Lutheran “White Church” Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
