The Open Air Book Fair will be held on Saturday, August 22nd, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Montgomery Park at 119 1st St., Montgomery, PA 17752.

This free, family-friendly day will be filled with dozens of regional and award-winning authors that guests can meet and find their new favorite story. Book genres will include romance, fantasy, middle grade, early reader, picture books, and so many more!

When asked about the event, Judi Jessick, author of “Agatha Livermore and the Magic Cookie Spoon,” said, “While they offer so much to the community, libraries are often underutilized. They provide everything from tech classes to children’s programming and of course lots of books! Come out and take part in the fun at the Open Air Book Fair and join us as we show our appreciation for the Montgomery Area Public Library!”

The Library will be selling used books, Blind Date with a Book packages for all ages, as well as raffle tickets for several baskets and wooden burnt bookish art, as part of the fundraiser. A craft station will also be offered.

During the event, Twinkling Tiaras will be holding a storytime for the young and the young at heart with the Bookish Beauty Princess and the Mermaid Princess.
