Jean M. Crawford, 87, of Muncy, died Friday, July 3, 2026, at The Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport.

Born June 9, 1939, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Laurence Fink, Sr. and Ruth (Lorson) Fink. She and her husband, William G. Crawford, shared a wonderful life together and were married for nearly 60 years until his passing on October 29, 2016.

Jean was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who had a green thumb for gardening. She was known for her flower garden at home and her love of mums in the fall. Jean especially loved being a stay-at-home mom and later a grandmother and great-grandmother. Christmas was always a special time for her, especially Christmas shopping for her family and friends. Jean always took the time every single year to make sure everyone had special gifts picked just for them. She was also a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Muncy.

She is survived by daughters; Lori (Chris) Girio of Muncy, and Barbara (R. Thomas) Spring of Quarryville; grandchildren; Thomas (Mary) Spring, Megan Spring, Rachel (Greg) Trout, Derek (Christine) Smith, Shawn (Jessica) Smith, Scott Smith, Jennifer Mordan, and Katie Mordan; sixteen great-grandchildren; sisters; Carol (Richard) Gamble of Williamsport, Donna Chapman of Williamsport, and Janice (Stan) Hornberger of Williamsport.

Besides her husband and parents, Jean is also preceded in death by son, Ronald Crawford; daughter, Debra Mordan; granddaughter, Jessica Crawford; brother, Laurence Fink, Jr.; and sisters, Joanne Wright and Joyce Way.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, Hughesville.
