Thomas P. Conner, 69

Thomas P. Conner, 69

Thomas P. Conner, 69, of Dushore, died Thursday, June 18, 2026, at his home.

Born July 28, 1956, in Sayre, he was a son of the late Kemerly and Reva (Johnson) Conner. Thomas was a proud veteran of the United States Airforce, where he served as a Second Lieutenant overseeing nuclear missile silos. He was also a graduate of Penn State University and the University of North Dakota. Thomas was employed as a medical administrator and was a licensed CPA and CMA.

Thomas was a devoted brother, uncle, and friend, who loved Farmall and International tractors and found joy in farming and nurturing trees, proudly cultivating his land in Dushore. His green thumb was matched only by his love for the outdoors, often spending time hunting with his friends. Thomas also enjoyed sports, especially Penn State wrestling and football, and sharing meals with friends and family at various local restaurants. He was a respected member of the Evergreen Lodge No.163 F. & A.M. and the Irem Temple Shrine. His zest for life and community involvement left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his sister, Babette Kovtun of Corning, N.Y.; a niece, Love (Stephen) LaBarre of Ithaca, N.Y.; great-nephew, Ocean LaBarre; and several close friends.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2026, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home – Dushore, 119 Carpenter Street, with Pastor Ron Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in Old Zion Cemetery, Dushore. Friends may call from 12 to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A Masonic funeral service will be conducted by Evergreen Lodge No. 163 F. & A.M. beginning at 12:45 p.m.
