Debbie Bannon, 69, formerly of Renovo and currently a resident of Jersey Shore Manor Care, was welcomed into the arms of her Savior on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
Born March 28, 1957 in Clearfield, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Ann (MacGill) Wadsworth.
Debbie first met her love, Wilbur Bannon, when her father picked him up hitchhiking on the Renovo Road. From that point forward, Debbie and Wilbur were inseparable. They enjoyed taking long walks together. Debbie and Wilbur shared 41 years of unconditional love and marriage before his passing in 2021.
Debbie was a devoted Christian, attending Grace Baptist Church in North Bend and then, after moving to Jersey Shore Manor Care, services there. She treasured reading her Bible.
She looked forward to the annual Flaming Foliage parade and events.
Debbie loved crafting- whether it be drawing, knitting or painting.
She enjoyed collecting angels, pins and stuffed animals.
Debbie loved all of her brothers and sisters dearly and cared very much about her many nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her brothers: John Wadsworth of Woolrich, Mark Wadsworth of Renovo and Carl Wadsworth of Virginia; sisters, Tracy (Heath) Miller of Manheim and Helen Williams of Lock Haven; and many nieces and nephews, including John Wadsworth, II who looked after her for many years.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clem Wadsworth and sisters: Mary Beck, Candy Wadsworth and Terry Rinker.
Debbie’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the loving staff at Jersey Shore Manor Care who treated her as if she was their own family member.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2026 at 12 Noon at Grace Baptist Church, 15 S. Ransdorf Ave., North Bend with Pastor Mahlon Nevel officiating.
