Thomas C. Gotshall, Sr., 85, of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly at UPMC Susquehanna ER on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Tom was born in Williamsport on August 11, 1940, the son of the late Clair R. Gotshall and Geraldine M. (Burkheimer) Gotshall. He was a graduate of the former St. Mary’s High School and was employed as a mechanic at the former Nau & Thompson Garage and Susquehanna Motors.

Tom was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, a life member of the Gesang Verein Harmonia, a former member of the Republican Club and Three Ponds Golf Course. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing with his family.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Nancy (Thomke) Gotshall; their children; Thomas (Cindy) Gotshall Jr. of Williamsport, Ellen Little of Hughesville, Diann (Joseph) Fischer of Williamsport, Paula (John) Lutcher of Blackstone, VA, Jeffrey (Toni) Gotshall of Fayetteville, NC, Matthew (Jennifer) Gotshall of Montoursville; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, his son-in-law, Karl Little preceded him in death.

The family will receive family and friends at the church on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 9:45 to 10:15 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport with the Rev. Glenn E. McCreary officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions may be made in Tom’s name to St. Boniface Parish, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701
