Sandy Gordner, 74

Sandy Gordner, 74, of Williamsport, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in the comfort of her home. Born April 30, 1952, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late John and Roberta (Gardner) Rothermel.

A graduate of South Williamsport High School, Sandy devoted much of her life to serving others as a case worker for Hope Enterprises. With compassion and kindness, she helped those less fortunate find housing, employment, and other basic necessities needed to build a better life.

She was a devoted mother and Grammy who cherished her family beyond measure. Some of her happiest moments were spent along the Susquehanna River, waterskiing, scuba diving, or tubing with her beloved grandchildren, a memory they will always hold dear. The beach was her true happy place; she found peace in the sound of the waves. In true “Hurricane Sandy” fashion, she refused to stay anywhere in Florida that didn’t offer a beach view.

Sandy was also a woman of deep and unwavering faith. A loyal member of Wings of Love Community Church for many years, she attended services whenever she was able and placed her complete trust in the Lord throughout her life. Though her family will miss her dearly, they find comfort in knowing she is finally home, at peace, and in His presence.

Surviving is a son, Steven “Tucker” (Stefanie) Condo of Williamsport; grandchildren, Samantha Condo, Avory Condo, John Condo, and Dylan Miller; and a daughter-in-law, Lori Fuller. No one will miss Sandy more than her beloved canine companion, Bella.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patricia Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Wings of Love Community Church, 699 Southmont Ave, South Williamsport, PA 17702.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Wings of Love Community Church at the address above.
