Judy Lee Fellinger Taggart, 85, of Concord, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 3, 2026.

Judy was born on December 22, 1940 in Picture Rocks, Pennsylvania to the late Ebner and Florence (Hacker) Fellinger.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Daniel Taggart; children, Sherry Kafka (Ken) of Candor, NY, Daniel Taggart of Concord, NC and Bonnie Larson (Brian) of Apalachin, NY; grandchildren, Justin Larson (Callie), Colleen Kafka, Dustin Larson (Lydia) and Caitlin Kafka; and great-grandchildren, Levi, Addie, Josie, Mason, Waylon, Ainslie and Owen.

She was also preceded in death by her brother William Fellinger and sister Patricia Roadarmel.

Judy grew up in Hughesville, PA and after marriage she and Dan moved to Apalachin, NY where they raised their 3 children. After 25 years in NY, they moved down to Concord, NC for IBM and eventual retirement. Judy loved visiting friends and family in their motorhome and researching family genealogy became her passion after retirement.

A graveside service will be held May 16th at 11am at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 695 Cemetery Drive, in Hughesville, PA with Pastor Kevin St. Martin officiating. There will be a gathering afterwards of family and friends.

Whitley’s Funeral Home is assisting the family in North Carolina and the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home in Hughesville is assisting the family with the services in Pennsylvania.
