Carol A. Young, 79, of Muncy, died Friday, April 3, 2026, at Edenbrook South.

Born December 18, 1946, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Harry Pepperman and Ora (Stroup) Pepperman. Carol married her husband, John E. Young, Jr. on October 21, 1967, and they were together for 58 wonderful years.

Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed going to auctions, puzzles and games on her phone, going out to lunch with her girlfriends, and traveling. She was an active member of Friends Church in Hughesville, where she oversaw planning for the Senior Dinners. Carol especially loved having dinners with her family, and spending time with her grandson, Jace.

She is survived by her husband, John E. Young, Jr. of Muncy; son, John E. Young, III of Muncy; grandson, Jace Anthony Young; sisters, Connie (Jerry) Lippold, of Bastrop, TX, Donna Saar of Mill Hall, and Kathy (George) Rhyne of Harrisburg.

Aside from her parents, Carol is also predeceased by her brother, William H. Pepperman.
