Harold E. Keefer, 78, of Watsontown passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born May 19, 1947 in Lewisburg, he was a son of the late Robert and Geraldine (Lupold) Wolfe.  On April 16, 1966 he married the former Polly A. Mincemoyer and together they celebrated 59 years of marriage until her passing on September 24, 2025.

Harold was a 1965 graduate of Warrior Run High School.  He previously worked at Jasper Woof Products, Philco Ford both in Watsontown, Buckhart Horn/Mid-Penn Engineering in Lewisburg, and most recently for John Courkart Engineering in New Berlin retiring in 2011.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Watsontown, a 25 year member of the Watsontown Masonic Lodge #401, and a life member at Warrior Run Area Fire Department.  Harold was also a member of the Watsontown Rod & Gun Club in Weikert, Union County Sportsman Club, and White Deer Golf Club.

Harold enjoyed hunting and traveling to South Carolina to play golf.  He loved time spent with his family especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Amy Kendall and her husband Roger, of Lancaster, and Staci Goodspeed, of Watsontown; three grandchildren, Amanda Persing and her fiancé, Jared Bryant, Keefer Goodspeed and his fiancé Brooke Leitzel, and Cody Goodspeed; four great-grandchildren, Owen, Kiley, Adalynn, and Makenna; one brother: Dennis Keefer, of Muncy; two nephews: David and Doug Keefer; and two nieces: Kacy Walter and Natalie Waltz

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Wolfe.

There will be a visitation from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, April 16 at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 124 Main Street Watsontown, where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 PM.  Burial will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 17 in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Warrior Run Area Fire Department, 1125 Main Street, Watsontown, Pa 17777.
