Rose M. Beaver, 82, of New Columbia, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026 at her home.

Born May 10, 1943 in Milton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Harriett (Deamer) Bomboy.  On July 12, 1987 she married Edward R. Beaver, Sr. and they have celebrated 39 years of marriage.

She worked at the former JPM Industries for 19 years and had also worked at Evangelical Community Hospital.

She was an avid baker, loved gardening, working outdoors, and fishing, but most of all loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving besides her husband are three sons: Nevin E. Mensch,III and Christopher C. Mensch, both of Milton, and Shawn D. Bridge and his wife Kimberly of Mifflinburg; step-son, Edward “Ray” Beaver, Jr. and his wife Cathy, of New Columbia; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was a daughter who died in infancy, Brenda Mensch; and four brothers: Charlie, Fred, Gene, and Jack Bomboy.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
