Nicole J. Bickel, 47, of Williamsport, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at UPMC, Williamsport.

Born October 7, 1978, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Dennis and Ginger (Thomas) Miller, who survive.

Nicole was a 1997 graduate of Lewisburg High School earning distinguished honor roll.  She later earned a degree in 2006 from McCann School of Business, Sunbury, where she was valedictorian.  She spent time as a paralegal in Sunbury and more recently served as a waitress in the Williamsport area.

Nicole was an excellent cook and enjoyed family cookouts.  She was an adventurous girl with her family and son, enjoying trips to R.B. Winter State Park, Halfway Dam and Knoebels amongst other places.  Nicole also liked to read and had many sleepovers with her family.

Surviving in addition to her parents are four sisters, Christina Thomas, Amy Miller, Grace Harding and Katie Swartzlander; and nine nieces and nephews, Tylar, Joshua, Gavin, Grace, Trish, Emily, Matthew, Cameron and Thomas.

She was predeceased by her son, Ashton Wasie; a sister, Trish Miller; and maternal grandparents, Gary and Grace Thomas.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
