Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Congratulations!

Oh boy, I’ve got a lot to say and not a lot of room to say it. For those keeping track, I’m almost ready for Christmas and the presents may even be wrapped come Christmas morning!

Next up, important information:

This is our last issue for 2025. I repeat. This is our last issue for 2025.

We are finishing this paper, celebrating Christmas with our family and friends, and then we will back in the office December 29th to start working on the January 7th edition!

That means this week contains our yearly charity pages.

This week’s issue is just one of the many ways Jimmy helps people and our community throughout the year. He would never talk about how much he does to help the people in and around our community, and he would be super embarrassed if I went into too much detail, but suffice it to say, he helps out a lot and allowing us to do these pages is really just the tip of the iceberg.

So, thank you, Jimmy. Not only for the opportunity you give us to help out our favorite organizations, but for all you do the other 51 weeks of the year for so many people in our area.

On to the details about this week’s issue:

For the past 10 years, Jimmy has given each full-time employee a page of the paper to donate to the charity of their choice. We all get to pick something that is near and dear to us and donate ad space, editorial space, or a combination of both.

We have a variety of organizations from across the area that we donated space to this week. I’m sure that you are familiar with most, and you can learn about what they do in detail as you read through this issue, but here are the charities my coworkers and I are sponsoring this year:
– Consolidated Sportsman of Muncy Creeks
Family Promise of Lycoming County
– Hyner Lodge Foundation
Lycoming County SPCA
– Lycoming County Master Gardeners
– YWCA Williamsport

Each of these charities means something to the employee that sponsored them. They are all amazing local organizations that are doing what they can to help in our area.

Next up we have our winners for the Blaise Alexander Christmas Coloring Contest! We had another great year getting hundreds of entries and we are so excited for all of the winners! A complete list of winners and entrants can be found starting on page 6, and below are the first-place winners in each age group!

I’m quickly running out of real estate here, so I’ll end things with this: I hope you all have the Merriest of Christmases and the Happiest of New Years. I hope the holidays bring you all the joy in the world and the New Year ushers in only the best for you and yours!

So once again, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Congratulations to our Winners!
And remember — there will be NO WEBB WEEKLY for December 31st!
