Larry Rohe, Jr., 79, of Mildred, died Monday, November 10, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born July 22, 1946, in New Albany, he was a son of the late Lawrence Sr. and Alverta (Crouse) Rohe. On May 20, 1989, Larry married his wife, Jo Elaine (Masteller) Rohe, and the two shared 36 loving years of marriage.

The son of a dairy farmer, Larry’s roots ran deep in farm life. From the time he was just five years old, he helped his father milk cows, eventually following in his father’s footsteps to run the family farm beside his father. Larry had a deep affection for his animals, especially his cows and dogs. When he wasn’t tending to the farm, Larry enjoyed hunting and watching TV Westerns. Above all, Larry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished time with his family. He was also a proud, active member of Redeemer Bible Church, Dushore.

Surviving is his wife, Jo; a son, Larry (Mary Ann) Rohe, III of Dushore; four step-children, Harry (Kristen) Molyneux, Jr. of Mildred, Althea Ryder of Picture Rocks, Polly Molyneux of Mildred, and Hannah (Clint) Nearing of Monroeton; two sisters, Mary (significant other, Richard Taffe) Rohe and Catherine Pedro both of Dushore; eight grandchildren, Destiny Beaver, Tylor Rider, Kristin Wheeler, Brennan Ryder, Drake Babcock, Autumn Molyneux, Kyra Molyneux, and Dayna Wyler; two great-grandchildren, Waylon Swartz and Serena Babcock; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a sister, Bernadine Burke, and a brother, Thomas Waluk.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Redeemer Bible Church, S. German St., Dushore, PA, 18614, with Pastor Ron Dyer officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
