Harold Scott Domino, 83

Harold Scott Domino, 83, of Williamsport, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, October 13, 2025. Born on August 22, 1942, in New Orleans, he was the son of the late Minerva Scott.

Affectionately known to many simply as “Domino,” he lived a life full of flavor both in the kitchen and in spirit. He attended chef school in Baton Rouge, where he developed his own signature style of Southern cooking. His dishes, deeply rooted in the rich flavors of New Orleans, became legendary among family and friends and are still fondly remembered throughout the community today. Domino’s true joy was found in sharing meals, laughter, and love around the table.

Domino was a dedicated and skilled worker, employed for more than 36 years at Lycoming Engines in Williamsport as an aircraft mechanic until his retirement in 2005. Above all, Domino was a family man who treasured time spent with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Surviving is his loving wife of 32 years, Susan (Lenker) Domino; five children, Maria Domino-Scanga (Louis) of Pittsburgh, Nicolas Domino of Jersey Shore, Malena Dunn (Dave) of Carlisle, Kendra Dayton (Billy III) of Loyalsock, and Marcus Domino of Williamsport; seven grandchildren, Kenley, Braelyn, Brynlee, Brendyn, Gavin, Ava, and William IV; and a large extended family who lovingly knew him as “Uncle Domino” or “Uncle Junior.” He shared a particularly close bond with his niece, Claudiette, whose friendship and care meant the world to him.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
